SHAPE SHIFT
Issue 010
July 2026 | Creative Director Elliot Myers, Editor in Chief Shikha Chatterjee
Art has never stood still. It shifts with us, shaped by culture, identity, memory, and time. What once felt certain dissolves into something unfamiliar, only to become something else entirely. There are no fixed definitions, only constant evolution. Shape-shift is an exploration of what refuses to remain fixed, a celebration of the fluid, the evolving, and the infinite ways we reshape ourselves and the worlds we create.
We pushed the boundaries of art through reinvention – reflecting the fluid nature of creation, where ideas shift, identities evolve, and nothing remains fixed.
Within the intersection of art, identity, and culture, the works embrace transformation in all its forms. "Holy Bodies" reimagines classical Greek and Roman sculpture through the contemporary lens of trans bodies, reshaping historical ideals to make space for new narratives. "Henshin" celebrates metamorphosis through fearless collaboration, inviting artists to step beyond the familiar and construct identities and worlds that exist only through collective imagination. "Creative Rebirth" explores the tension between routine and creative freedom while honoring the constant evolution of the self.
As a whole, the projects of 010 reveal that change is not something to resist, but the very force that shapes art, culture, and who we become.
